The facilitator will provide an overview of what oral history is and how it is used as well as show examples from a variety of projects. There will also be time to discuss the possibility of creating an oral history project focusing on Two-Spirited and LGBTTQ Indigenous and racialized people/people of colour in Montreal. Beginning with sharing some tangible strategies for solidarity, we will establish some shared language and deconstruct intersecting systems of oppression using an assortment of different current media based examples. |
